  • 60 milliliters (2 ounces) cinnamon infused vodka
  • 8 milliliters (0.25 ounce) Dry vermouth
  • Dash orange bitters

  1. Start with a bottle of vodka and a cinnamon stick. Chuck that cinnamon stick into your bottle of vodka. Keep a small spoon or a straw handy so you can taste it along the way while the cinnamon flavours the vodka. Depending on what you need to do for the rest of the day, the tasting might be the best part. I steeped mine for about an hour.
  2. Once your cinnamon vodka is ready, pour 60 milliliters (two ounces) into a mixing glass. Add about eight milliliters (1/4 ounce) of dry vermouth and a dash of orange bitters. Stir it until it's as frosty as your windshield on a December morning and strain into a cocktail glass. Twist a lemon peel over that and enjoy.
