Whipped Cottage Cheese With Fruit & Nuts

A pretty dish that's everything you want in a delicious snack. 



  • 1 3/4 cups 2 percent cottage cheese or 2 percent plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons chopped raw walnuts or pecans


  1. Place the cottage cheese in a food processor and pulse until it is smooth.
  2. Add the lemon juice and maple syrup and pulse until the mixture is well incorporated.
  3. Set aside 1/2 the cottage cheese mixture for Saturday’s snack.
  4. Place the remaining cottage cheese in a serving bowl and top with the strawberries, cinnamon, and chopped walnuts.

Lemon lover? For extra flavor, stir 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest into the cottage cheese mixture.
