A really simple, beautiful patty is going to be key for this dish. We used fresh ground beef from our butchery, seasoned only with salt and pepper. If you're using fresh ground beef from a reputable retailer, you can cook it less than well done.
Staying true to Canadian roots, creamy BC blue cheese and thick cut maple bacon make this burger. Garnishes are to taste, but we recommend lettuce, thinly sliced red onions and maybe some all natural ketchup. Since it's the beginning of summer, if you haven't already broken out the BBQ, now's the time. This burger will come together quickly, so make sure you have everything else ready when you start grilling. Assemble as desired.
