The mac n' cheese dog

Ingredients

  • Grilled hot dog
  • Toasted bun
  • White cheddar mac ’n cheese
  • Bacon bits
  • Toasted panko
  • Ketchup for dipping!

Directions

  1. Make sure that your grill is clean before you begin to BBQ. Pre-heat the BBQ on high for about ten minutes - you’re aiming for the grill to reach about 425° before you put the dogs on the grill. Once the BBQ has reached the proper temperature, add the dogs and close the lid. Let them grill on one side for about five minutes. Flip them and grill for about another five minutes.
  2. Once the hot dogs are grilled and the buns are toasted, add the hot dog to the bun and top
  3. with some Mac and cheese. Top this with some panko breadcrumbs and a scattering of bacon bits. Return these to the BBQ for a few minutes to heat up the Mac and cheese. Serve with ketchup.
