Ingredients

  • Prepared caramel sauce
  • 15 milliliters (1/2 ounce) rye whiskey
  • 30 milliliters (1 ounce) hazelnut liquor
  • 30 milliliters (1 ounce) Irish cream
  • 120 milliliters (4 ounces) hot coffee
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate curls*, for garnish

Directions

  1. Pour a thin layer of caramel sauce onto a shallow dish then dip the rim of a coffee mug (glass is preferable) into the sauce just to coat. Turn the mug right side up and pour in the whiskey, hazelnut liquor, and Irish cream. Stir to combine.
  2. Pour over the hot coffee, give the cocktail a stir, and top with a dollop of whipped cream and a few chocolate curls.

*To make easy chocolate curls, simply run a vegetable peeler over a bar of your favourite chocolate.
