Sweet and tangy pineapple meatballs

  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 455 grams frozen turkey meatballs
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can diced pineapple
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce


  1. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add the peppers and cook until the begin to soften, about three minutes. Add the meatballs, diced pineapple, and BBQ sauce. 
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to medium-low, cover and simmer for 12 minutes or until meatballs are heated through.
  3. Serve over rice.
