Spicy chipotle chicken marinade

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 lime (to be juiced)
  • 2 tablespoons minced chipotle in adobo sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Mix the marinade ingredients in a large freezer bag set into a bowl. Add one pound  skinless boneless chicken breasts. Squeeze out all of the air and seal. Freeze for up to three  months.
  2. When ready to eat, thaw in the fridge overnight and grill or bake until cooked. Discard marinade.
