Spiced Coconut Chiller

Enjoy a cooling coconut latte with herbs and spices that reduce your stress response and help you enjoy a good rest! The Ayurvedic spices in this beverage are a wonderful remedy for bloating and gas.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups coconut milk or beverage (if you want it lighter)
  • 1 teaspoon ashwagandha powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder (use extra cinnamon if cardamom is unavailable) pinch turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or 5 drops of monkfruit liquid)

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, gently warm coconut milk.
  2. Add the spices and mix well.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in honey.
  4. Let cool, then refrigerate.
  5. When needed, shake well and serve over ice.
