Simple and healthy breakfast oatmeal

Total Time


  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • Small piece of cinnamon stick
  • 1 or 2 bay leaves
  • 2 pieces allspice
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut (unsweetened)
  • Greek yogurt (unsweetened)
  • Touch of nutmeg
  • Vanilla
  • Fruit


  1. Bake coconut in oven for 30-60 seconds at 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Boil in water cinnamon stick, bay leaves, allspice on medium heat for 10 minutes. 
  3. Stir in oats. Boil for five minutes then add milk and drops of vanilla.  Stir occasionally until thickened. Remove allspice and bay leaves.
  4. Place breakfast portion in bowl. Add yogurt, baked coconut and preferred fruits. Eat and enjoy!
