Raspberry lemonade

Now, it just wouldn’t be a picnic without a nice glass of refreshing lemonade. When life gives you lemons - and we’ve had our fair share of lemons over the last few weeks - you make lemonade. Raspberry lemonade actually! And it’s a lot easier than you might think.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4-1/2 cups water
  • 6 lemons, juice
  • 1 cup raspberries

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, dissolve the sugar with the water over medium-high heat. Once dissolved, allow it to cool completley. Once the syrup has cooled, add the raspberries into a large pitcher and lightly muddle them using a wooden spoon to release some of the juices. Add the lemon juice, syrup, and water. Mix well.
  2. Serve immediately over ice or store in the refrigerator for up to five days.
