Quick and easy pizza duo

  • 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) canola oil
  • 3 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) onions, chopped fine
  • 454 grams pizza dough, prepared, uncooked
  • 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup (240 milliliters) pizza sauce
  • 227 grams fresh mozzarella ball, shredded
  • 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) spinach, chopped
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 bunch fresh basil, leaves only
  • 1/2 cup (120 milliliters) pepperoni


  1. Preheat oven to 500 F (260 C)
  2. Heat oil in a sauté pan or skillet over high heat.  Add mushrooms and onions, cook on high, stirring often, until crispy.  Set aside.
  3. Butter a 60 x 45 centimeter sheet pan. Lay out the premade pizza dough so that it covers the entire pan.
  4. Using the back of a ladle, spread out pizza sauce evenly accross the rolled out dough, stopping a half-inch before the edge, to create a space for the crust.
  5. Cover the pizza in shredded mozzarella.
  6. On one half, add chopped spinach, tomato, basil and mushrooms. On the othe half, add the pepperoni.
  7. Bake pizza in the oven for ten minutes until bubbling and brown
  8. Take pizza out, cut, and serve.
