Pull apart football pizza bread

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons garlic purée
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped pineapple, canned or fresh
  • 1/4 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 large sourdough bread

Directions

  1. Set and pre-heat the oven to 375 F. 
  2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic, rosemary and oregano, olive oil and mix well. Using a sharp bread knife, make 2.5 centimeter diagonal cuts across the bread without cutting all the way through.
  3. Once all the cuts are made. Take the garlic oil mix and massage into the bread. Followed by the pizza sauce, ensure to cover the bread and cuts evenly. Place the pineapple, pepperoni slices and cheese into the cuts ensuring to push them well into the bread. Cover the top of the with aluminum foil.   
  4. Once oven is hot, place bread on large cooking sheet and cook for seven to eight minutes. Remove the foil and cook for another six to eight minutes or the cheese it bubbly and golden brown. Serve hot and pull apart the cheese bread.
