Pretzel breaded chicken strips

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups pretzels, crushed
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 4 eggs, mixed
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup dijon
  • 2 tablespoon honey


  1. Cut the chicken into strips and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl with the egg mixture with the Cajun seasoning and water, dip the chicken strips into the flour, then into the eggs, then coat in the crushed pretzels then put aside to congeal.
  3. Pre heat the oven to 400 degrees and lay out the chicken on a baking sheet
  4. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
  5. While the chicken is cooking, add the mayo, dijon and honey together for a delicious dipping sauce.
  6. Let the chicken cool, and enjoy!
