Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 milliliters) rolled oats
  • 1-1/2 cups (350 milliliters) water
  • 1 cup (240 milliliters) milk
  • 1/8 teaspoon (0.75 milliliters) salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon (0.75 milliliters) cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) butter
  • 4 teaspoons (20 milliliters) chia seeds
  • 4 teaspoons (20 milliliters) sliced almonds
  • 4 teaspoons (20 milliliters) toasted shredded unsweetened coconut
  • Fresh raspberries, to serve
  • Honey, to serve

Directions

  1. Add the oats to a saucepan. Pour over water and milk. Stir together. Bring the mixture to a boil, then down to a simmer. Simmer 10-15 minutes until thick. Stir in salt and cinnamon. Add butter and stir in. Spoon into bowls.
  2. Sprinkle chia seeds on top. Add sliced almonds. Sprinkle with coconut. Add raspberries to one side. Drizzle honey on top.
