Two of the best comfort foods unite for one unbeatable savoury explosion.

For the cream sauce:

  • 1 1/2 butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon canola oil
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 3/4 cup 35% cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cups grated Parmesan cheese

For the nachos:

  • 6-8 cups white corn tortilla chips
  • 1/2 cup store bought pizza sauce
  • 1/2 cups cream sauce
  • 1/4 cup fine diced onion
  • 1 cup bite size pepperoni
  • 1/4 cooked bacon
  • 1/2 cups black olives sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil

For the sauce:

  1. Melt the butter and olive oil on medium to low heat. Then toss in the garlic and stir. Turn the heat up to medium and add the cream and stir. Bring to a boil.
  2. Season with salt and pepper add the cheese and stir together.
  3. The sauce will thicken pretty quickly, once it does, remove from the burner, and set aside.

For the nachos:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400ºF. In a cast iron skillet build your nacho.
  2. Add your chips.
  3. Drizzle the cream and tomato sauce all over the chips.
  4. Top with the onions, pepperoni, olives and bacon. Layer well.
  5. Top with the mozzarella cheese. Place in the preheated oven, and cook until the cheese is nice and bubbly and toppings are warmed through. Garnish with Parmesan and torn basil.
