Pico de gallo

  • 3 large tomato, chopped into small cubes
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • Handful of cilantro leaves coarsely chopped, stems removed (about 1 cups)
  • 1 jalapeno thinly sliced or Serrano pepper (or to taste) seeds moved
  • 1/2 - 2 limes juiced (or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt (or to taste)


  1. Mix tomatoes, onion, cilantro and jalapeno.
  2. Season with lime juice and salt (to taste).
