Nordic shrimp pizza

Ingredients

Pizza dough:

  • 3-1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1-1/2 cups water

Sauce:

  • 1 cup 35% whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 lemon, zested

Toppings:

  • 1 cup nordic shrimp
  • 75 grams mozzarella, ripped into pieces
  • 1 shallot, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup dill, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

Pizza dough:

  1. Mix the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl, and knead briefly just to bring together. Place in a greased bowl and cover with a tea towel. Leave to proof at room temp for 24 hours. Then, divide the dough into four balls, round them off and place on a baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge to proof for another 24 hours. The dough can be individually wrapped and frozen at this point, or used for use over the course of the next few days. 

Sauce:

  1. Combine and blend for 30 seconds to slightly thicken, or whisk by hand to slightly thicken. 

Toppings:

  1. Take out a ball of dough and flatten into a thin pizza (about 20 - 23 centimeter). Grill on a BBQ or grill pan over medium high heat on one side for about two to three minutes. Flip and grill for another minute, then remove. 
  2. Top the pizza with some of cream sauce, then top with the cheese, shrimp, and shallots.  In a separate bowl, combine the parsley, dill, garlic, and olive oil then drizzle all over the pizza.  Drizzle a little extra olive oil onto the crust.  Broil for one minute to char the crust and melt the cheese. Enjoy!
