- Using a spoon, scoop out avocado flesh in a serving bowl and set aside.
- In a blender, blend the tomatillos, garlic cloves, jalapeno (if using), one lime juice and one teaspoon of salt.
- Using a fork, gently mash the avocado flesh and the tomatillo mixture together.
- Stir in the chopped white onion, cilantro and tomato
- Season with lime juice and salt to taste.
NOTE: leave a couple of avocado pits in the guacamole to make it last longer!
