  • 1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 45 milliliters (1-1/2 ounce) Irish whiskey (3 tablespoons)
  • Heavy cream, slightly whipped
  • Garnish: powdered chocolate

  1. Pour hot coffee into a warmed Irish coffee mug until it is about 3/4 full. Add the brown sugar and stir until completely dissolved. Blend in Irish whiskey. Pour whipped heavy cream over top with the back of a spoon. Garnish with a sprinkle of powdered chocolate over top.
  2. Tip: for a non-alcohol version – replace whiskey with vanilla extract!
