Holiday spiced pancake mix

  • 6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground clove
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg


  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. Pour the dry into a large jar and write up a tag with the following:
  2. To make 12 to 14 large pancakes, combine two cups of dry mix with two cups of buttermilk, two large eggs, one teaspoon vanilla, and three tablespoons of molasses. Stir just until combined. Fry up your pancakes and serve with lots of butter and maple syrup!
