Total Time

  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) olive oil, plus more for brushing bread
  • 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) honey
  • 1 tablespoon (15 milliliters) chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 milliliters) salt
  • Fresh ground pepper

  1. Brush both sides of each slice of sourdough with olive oil. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat, then grill bread for two minutes on each side, or until charred. Remove to a plate.
  2. Whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, chopped fresh rosemary, salt, and pepper. Pour onto a small plate.
  3. Cut each slice of sourdough into four thick strips and arrange around the plate with oil.
