Grilled banana with banana custard

Ingredients

  • Wooden skewers or metal skewers of your choice
  • 10-12 mini bananas
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. If using wooden skewers soak in water for at least 30 minutes prior to BBQ.
  2. In a blender, combine the can of condensed milk, two ripe bananas with the cinnamon and vanilla.
  3. Blend until smooth and set aside in small ramekins for easy dipping.
  4. Preheat BBQ to 350 degrees F.
  5. Skewer each mini banana and grill on medium-high heat until grill marks start to appear.
  6. Brush the bananas with a little of the custard sauce for extra caramelization.
  7. Serve hot and gooey on a nice platter with dipping bowls of custard
