Garlic and cheese oven fries

Dynamite homemade fries with crispy baked outsides and soft mashed potato-like insides.


Total Time


  • 6 large potatoes, skin on washed thoroughly
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 1 tseaspoon chilli powder
  • 2 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • ¾ cup Parmigianno Reggiano, grated
  • 3 tablespoons parlsey, finely chopped
  • ½ cup olive oil


  1. Pre-heat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cut the potatoes in half and then in five long strips.
  3. In a bowl toss the potatoes with garlic powder, chilli powder, salt, pepper, parmigiano reggiano, parsley and olive oil.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and put into the oven. Cook for 25 minutes then flip the potatoes and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until crispy and fork tender.
