Festive gin and tonic

A gin and tonic is a classic drink, but spice it up and make it festive with this yummy recipe! Not to mention, this particular drinks pair perfectly with goat cheese.



  • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 sprig fresh mint
  • 6 juniper berries
  • 1 lime
  • 1 ounce gin
  • 1 cup of tonic
  • Garnish with rosemary and pomegranite seeds


  1. In a cocktail shaker pour in salt, sugar, a sprig of mint and juniper berries. Muddle these ingredients until the berries are crushed.
  2. Add one ounce of gin to the muddled mixture and shake. Strain juice into a tall glass with ice.
  3. Top the mixture off with tonic.
  4. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and pomegranite seeds.
