Faux frozen chocolate cups

These cups are both bone building and relaxing due to their high mineral content. With no added refined sugar, these cups help you break your chocolate addiction!

This delicious and convincing freezer fat bomb treat was inspired by nutritionist Jessica Tucker and I adapted it to use monk fruit and nut butter and the results taste like a peanut butter cup. They contain no added sugar and zero caffeine so they are the perfect after dinner treat. Caffeine stays in your system for hours so it is best to have carob instead of chocolate in the evening.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup nut or seed butter
  • 1 cup coconut oil
  • 1 cup carob powder
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract or 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon pink sea salt

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl or a food processor.

  3. Place into freezer until set (about 30 minutes).
  4. Serve directly out of the freezer as they thaw at room temperature.
