Easy shrimp dumplings

Dumplings are really easy to make at home and are a great dish to enjoy with your friends on a girl's night. Don’t worry about making your own dough, this recipe is perfect with store bought wonton or dumpling wrappers. If you don't love shrimp, just swap it out for your favourite dumpling ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 455 grams peeled deveined shrimp, chopped
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons Chinese cooking wine
  • 1 tablespoon tamari soy sauce
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • 26-30 Wonton wrappers or dumpling wrappers
  • 1 egg white, beaten to seal

For the dipping sauce:

  • 1/4 cup Chinese black vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon tamari soy sauce
  • Finely grated ginger, to taste
  • Peanut oil for frying
