Cottage cheese banana split

Late night snacks aren't always a good idea, but the right choice can make all the difference. Make sure you're eating the right ingredients, like these, that will give you a great night's sleep.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup low sodium cottage cheese
  • ½ cup frozen banana
  • 1 banana, split in half
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter mixed with 2 tsp warm water
  • 1/3 cup sour cherries
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted

Directions

  1. To a food processor, puree the cottage cheese and banana until smooth. Line a banana boat with a split banana and fill with the cottage cheese filling.
  2. Drizzle with thinned out almond butter, top with cherries and a sprinkle of sliced almonds.
