Cold pickled radishes

YIELDS
2 CUPS

Ingredients

  • 12 radishes, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup (120 milliliters) rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup (120 milliliters) water
  • 2 tablespoons (30 milliliters) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) salt

Directions

  1. Thinly slice radishes and transfer to a jar.
  2. Add garlic, vinegar, water, sugar, and salt to the jar.
  3. Cover and shake well.
  4. Cool in the refrigerator for twenty minutes before serving.
