Classic tuna sandwich made even better

A simple sandwich jazzed up with some apple and avocado.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices brown bread
  • 1 can flaked tuna
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • ¼ cup (about 1/8) of a small red onion, minced
  • ¼ cup (about 1/4) small apple, diced
  • ¼ teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. In a bowl mix together the tuna, mashed avocado, celery, onion, apple, Dijon and a pinch each of salt and pepper. Pile onto bread into a sandwich.
