Chocolate chip cookies (chewy)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480 milliliters) flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon (4 milliliters) baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon (4 milliliters) salt
  • 3/4 cup (180 milliliters) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1-1/2 cup (360 milliliters) brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) vanilla
  • 2 cups (480 milliliters) semisweet chocolate pieces

Directions

  1. To a bowl, add flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat butter until smooth. Add brown sugar and continue beating until incorporated. Crack eggs into bowl. Add vanilla. Beat to incorporate. Gradually pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients, mixing to combine. Pour chocolate pieces into dough and stir in. Cover dough. Chill overnight in fridge.
  2. Preheat oven to 325 F (165 C). Spoon 60 gram scoops onto baking tray lined with parchment paper 7.5 centimeters apart. Bake at 325 F (165 C) for 17 minutes.
