Cashew sour cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews, soaked for 20 minutes in hot water
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened nondairy milk (or water)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a high-powered blender until very smooth. Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. This will keep up to seven days in the fridge.
