Ingredients
1 30 millilitre can of black beans, thoroughly rinsed and drained
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 cup, semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a food processor/blender, add black beans, butter, and 1/4 cup chocolate chips. Process until combined.
Add eggs, vanilla, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
Continue to process, scraping down the sides if necessary, until the mixture is smooth in texture.
Add 1/4 cup walnuts, and stir with a spoon to combine.
Grease a 22 centimeter baking pan with cooking spray, and line bottom with parchment paper.
Transfer batter into pan, and top with remaining chocolate chips and walnuts.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until edges begin to pull away from the sides of the pan, and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow to cool for a minimum of 30 minutes before removing from pan.
Cut into squares, and enjoy!
