Authentic eggnog

Ingredients

  • 60 milliliters (2 ounces) dark rum
  • 20 milliliters (0.75 ounce) simple syrup
  • 20 milliliters (0.75 ounce) cream
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Combine all in shaker, shake for eight to ten seconds. Strain into rocks glass. Grate nutmeg over top.
